Wilson Leadership Scholarship in Support of the Arts (This is a one-time merit based scholarship, the criteria is below)
Dave ‘75 and Marie Wilson established this scholarship to award to a current freshman or sophomore who can lead and market to fellow students and faculty alike with the goal of improved support for the Art Programs at Trinity High School. Auditions should be packed, choruses full, and the theater sold out for every performance. One young man can influence many and the sponsors will work with the recipient(s) to promote the benefits of participation and the joy of attending. Prospective candidates should demonstrate those qualities which capture the essence of being a Trinity student: potential for leadership, confident and persuasive, outgoing and assertive, creative in his thinking and, naturally, a love for Trinity. Students interested in the scholarship must submit a proposal to Ms. Reedy no later than March 30 on how they plan to improve student and faculty support. The winner will be chosen by consensus of the teachers in consultation with the Wilson’s. At the end of each school year, the recipient will need to submit a 500-word essay on his reflection of life experiences and personal growth during the past year at Trinity.
