World famous detective, Hercule Poirot’s, vacation aboard a glamorous river steamer on the tranquil Nile is shattered when it turns into a terrifying search for a murderer when picture-perfect couple, Linnet Ridgeway and Simon Doyle’s, idyllic honeymoon is tragically cut short. Soured by the arrival of Simon’s ex-flame, Jacqueline de Bellefort seems intent on extracting some sort of revenge upon her former best friend who stole her fiancée. When Linnet is murdered, suspicion naturally falls on de Bellefort, the problem is she has a cast iron alibi. With every one of the affluent passengers on board the luxurious Karnak bearing a grudge against the wealthy heiress, the meticulous Monsieur Poirot arms himself with patience and perseverance to ferret out the killer in their midst.
