Auditions for Shamrock Series are now open!
Thank you for taking interesting being a part of Trinity High School's Department of Theatre Arts! We are so excited for the upcoming season. Please take a few minutes to fill out the audition/interview form located in the link below. All requirements for auditions/interviews will be found below. Anyone wishing to participate in the theatre department for this semester, must fill out the link below. This includes both Actors and Technical personnel.
We are searching for any Trinity students and high school female students interested in performing in our second annual Shamrock Series 2023. Please note you must be at least an incoming freshmen in high school in order to be eligible to audition. Please continue reading for the following required to be brought to auditions/interviews. |

"The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly" follows a teenage boy named Ryan as he struggles with issues of morality. This show takes the angel and devil on your shoulder to a whole new level. Sign up for auditions today!
CHARACTERS:
Ryan (Male): Ryan is an average high schooler who deals with issues of morality during the play when he is visited by good and bad versions of himself
Good Ryan (Male/Female): The morally righteous version of Ryan, Good Ryan is what Ryan is striving to be. An angel on Ryan’s shoulder if you will.
Bad Ryan (Male/Female): The opposite of Good Ryan. This version of Ryan wants him to do bad things.
Mr. Wilson (Male): Ryan and his friend’s teacher. A relatively stern and no-nonsense kind of guy
Kevin (Male): Ryan’s friend, Kevin likes messing around and goofing off
CJ(Male): Ryan’s other friend, likes to hang out with Ryan and Kevin

CHARACTERS:Jerry - The lead detective, very assertive,
Steve - the obedient detective, very surface level, tasked with simple tasks
Phil - The witty detective, also obedient to jerry,
Pamela Johnson - a defensive suspect but she is uncomfortable in the interrogation situation.
Fred Michaels - A headstrong and irritated suspect. Doesn’t cooperate easily

After being abducted by an alien crew, he learns about the legendary Eighth Wonder of the World, and realizes that his theories might have been right the entire time. This show features the weird, extreme, and unnatural in all the best ways (also, Michael Jackson makes an appearance)!
CHARACTERS:
Raymond: A twenty-something conspiracy theorist whose joy in life comes from questioning what may seem obvious to most. Full out weirdo and smart aleck who is sure he knows the truth (Male).
Captain Satire: The leader of the Buggane aliens. Strict and authoritative, knows how to command a room. Won’t take people’s BS, but tends to deal badly with change/extremely unexpected situations (Any).
Scientist 1: Neurotic, stick up his butt
Scientist 2: Chill, lazy/relaxed
Scientist 3: Easily scared, emotional/queasy.
Scientist 4: Emotionally together/collected, knows what to do in a tough situation.

Newscaster/Eighth Wonder: Needs good newscaster voice and charismatic presence. For Eighth Wonder, swag and maybe some dance moves, Michael Jackson-like movements.

- Winston Edwards- A 13 year old boy that has an IQ of 168, making him a genius with a mental age of 21 years old. He has severe social anxiety due to his intelligence, and has trouble in social/emotional situations.
- Sir- Winston's abusive father. He beats and berates him constantly and is just a terrible person.
- Miss Julie- Winston's special tutor/teacher. She is very kind, loving, and understanding to him
Inheritance

Inheritance follows Jake as he visits his therapist, Dr. Keating, throughout important parts of his life. Jake airs out all his frustrations to Dr. Keating and all of his worries. From work to love and to family, Dr. Keating offers Jake advice to help him remain calm and take on the challenges in his life. However, even a therapist’s advice has its limit, and Jake must face the fear of becoming his father.

- Jake: one of Dr. Keating’s, anxious and worried about life. He often visits Dr. Keating as troubles and worries overtake him from work to parenting.
- Rachel: Jake’s Girlfriend and then wife. Fed up with Jake being distant from his family.
- Owen: Son of Jake, who also sees Dr. Keating. A senior in high school, who is a bit like his father.
The Last One Alive

The Last One Alive is the story of inner conflict and societal pressures, as we follow Daniel and his struggle with his problems manifested in his own life, while his friends desperately try to help him open up to the community that surrounds him.
Characters:
Daniel (M) – the protagonist of the show. He is internally conflicted, and throughout the course of the show must face the problem that’s haunting him head-on.
Jaggar (M) – Daniel’s problem manifested that plagues him throughout the show.
Riley (F) – One of Daniel’s friends, Riley truly cares about Daniel and attempts to help him with his issues.
Tyler (M) – One of Daniel’s friends, Tyler is calm and collected. He tries to use some of his own experiences to help Daniel throughout the play.
Aubrey (F) – One of Daniel’s friends, Aubrey tries hard to show him that his problem is nothing to be ashamed about, and instead urges Daniel to reach out to his surrounding community.
Chris (M) – Another one of Daniel’s friends, Chris views his problems as illogical and irrational, and is sometimes antagonistic in his attempts to help him.
