Mr. Scott Ross is a music teacher and director of ensembles here at Trinity. Scott's passion for music was sparked when he was a high school student and was challenged by his choral teacher to conduct a piece for his senior concert. From that moment, Scott has dedicated his time and energy to sharing his joy and knowledge of music with young people. Mr. Ross received his B.A. in Music Education from Berea College in 1996. While studying at Berea, Scott was honored to serve as the Assistant Director of Bands. After a few years of teaching band and chorus and serving as a church music director, Mr. Ross earned an M.A. in Music from Asbury Theological Seminary (2000). Since that time, Scott has taught music at various schools, both public and private, and has been recognized by administrators, parents, students, and colleagues as an innovative and accomplished choral/instrumental conductor. In addition to his duties at Trinity, Mr. Ross also maintains a sizable studio of private students and serves as Worship Pastor at his church.
Scott lives with his wife, Angela, and their two children.
