Melissa is thrilled to be returning to Trinity High School for her 6th year as Costume Designer and Manager of the internship with UofL’s Costume Shop. She is so happy to be working with student interns from UofL, Riley Hamm and Trinity alum, Gardner Layne. Melissa has designed costumes for shows for the Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center, the Melodrama Musical Theatre, Center Stage, Pandora Productions, Stage One and UofL. Melissa is currently the Costume Shop Manager in UofL’s Theatre Arts Department, where she has designed costumes for the Repertory Company for more than 20 years. Other costume design credits include Oliver, Once on This Island, Sweeney Todd, Parade, Steel Magnolias, Wonderland, Zomo the Rabbit, A Doll's House, Tales of the 4th Grade Nothing, Ghost, Rock of Ages, Tarzan, Crazy for You, Shrek, The Lightning Thief, The Music Man, and Newsies! Melissa would like to thank Kate Reedy, who makes us all proud to be working on this production, and the wonderful and talented students here at Trinity, who make this job so much fun!
