It’s every parent’s nightmare: Wednesday Addams—the ultimate princess of darkness—has grown up and fallen in love… with a normal young man. When Wednesday entrusts her father with her secret and implores him not to reveal it to her mother, Gomez Addams finds himself in an impossible position. Devoted above all else to Morticia, he must now do the unthinkable—keep a secret from his beloved wife. As tensions quietly mount beneath the surface, the stage is set for an evening that will test the bonds of both families.  In an effort to bridge their vastly different worlds, the Beineke family is invited to dine at the Addams home. What begins as a courteous meeting soon spirals into a fateful and uproarious night filled with startling revelations, cultural collisions, and unexpected moments of vulnerability. Joined by a jealous younger brother, a hopelessly romantic uncle, a cryptic grandmother of uncertain origin, a stoic and ever-watchful butler, and an ensemble of mischievous Addams ancestors, the evening unfolds with both comic brilliance and surprising emotional depth. As secrets are revealed and relationships are challenged, both families must confront not only their assumptions about one another, but also the deeper truths they have long avoided.
